Cryolipolysis vs cavitation vs RF
These get sold interchangeably as “fat reduction” machines. They are different technologies doing different things, and only the first is cryolipolysis.

Is a cavitation machine a fat freezing machine?
No. Cavitation applies high-frequency sound to tissue; cryolipolysis applies controlled cooling. They are different technologies, and a cavitation machine should not be sold under the cryolipolysis search term.
Are more applicators always better?
Only if each applicator has its own temperature sensing and the cooling system can supply them all at once. One cooling system split across several weak applicators reads well on a brochure and underperforms in the room.
What is a 360-degree applicator?
One where the cooling surfaces surround the drawn-in fold rather than pressing against a single face of it, which is intended to give a more even temperature across the tissue.
Which type suits a small clinic?
