Work through these in order. Each step is cheap to do and expensive to skip.
1. Decide what you are treating
Before looking at machines, write down the areas you expect to treat and the number of clients a week. That decides applicator set and chair time, which decides machine class — not the other way round.
See types of machines for how the classes differ.
2. Confirm it is actually cryolipolysis
Ask directly whether the machine includes a cooled cryolipolysis applicator, and ask to see it reach and hold temperature. Cavitation, RF, vacuum and low-level laser are all legitimate technologies — none of them is fat freezing.
3. Verify the cooling, under load
- Does it reach the programmed temperature?
- Does it hold it for a full cycle?
- Is the cooling even across the applicator surface?
- Does every applicator have its own sensing?
- Does the machine stop if a sensor fails or an applicator is unplugged?
- Does the second consecutive session perform like the first?
A demonstration at idle proves nothing. Why colder is not better.
4. Check the documents against the model
Medical devices in India are regulated under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and the Medical Devices Rules, 2017, with risk-based classes A to D. Verify the documents applicable to the exact model, intended use, manufacturer and importer — rather than accepting a generic certificate shown over WhatsApp.
Ask for the serial number, and check that the certification names the model you are being quoted.
5. Price the consumables and the parts
Protective membranes are a per-treatment cost. Applicators, pumps and cooling components are eventual replacements. Ask for both price lists before you sign, not after.
Spare-part support is lifetime with us, but the parts themselves are chargeable — which is exactly why you want the list up front.
6. Get the commercial terms in writing
- The exact model and serial number
- Every included applicator, named
- The written warranty for that model, with its exclusions
- Who pays freight on an in-warranty repair
- Installation terms — onsite or online
- What training is included and what costs extra
- Membrane and spare-part price lists
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I check first when buying a cryolipolysis machine?
Your own case mix - which areas you will treat and how many clients a week. That decides the applicator set and machine class before any brochure does.
How do I verify a machine's cooling claim?
Ask for a demonstration under treatment load rather than at idle: does it reach the programmed temperature, hold it for a full cycle, distribute it evenly, and stop safely when a sensor fails?
What documents should I ask for in India?
Documents applicable to the exact model, intended use, manufacturer and importer under the Medical Devices Rules, 2017 - not a generic certificate. Ask for the serial number too.
What is included with a machine from Beauty Flex?
Pan-India delivery, typically 5-6 days depending on pincode with live tracking; operational training, with academic training available at extra charge; and lifetime spare-part support, with the parts themselves chargeable. Installation terms vary by machine.
Is EMI available?
EMI is available by credit card only, and charges apply.
